What is Thyromine?
Thyromine is an all-natural alternative thyroid treatment. Thyromine is geared mainly toward women who may need extra help losing weight due to hypothyroidism or an underactive thyroid. Thyromine is manufactured by Pacific Naturals, a company that claims to be a leader in natural supplements. They believe that women who are putting on unwanted pounds or who are having difficulty losing extra weight may be experiencing thyroid dysfunction. With Thyromine, they claim those suffering from thyroid conditions will return to a healthy metabolism and weight, receive a boost of energy and vitality, fight against future weight gain, and be able to regulate mood swings.
How Does Thyromine Work?
Thyromine contains several ingredients that Pacific Naturals believes are the most potent, top quality items for addressing thyroid issues. These “miracle” additions are guglipid, nori, thyroid powder from bovine, adrenal powder from bovine, ginger, piper longum, and L-tyrosine. Guglipid is believed to help with weight management and overall health. Nori is a type of Japanese seaweed used to support thyroid health. Thyroid and adrenal powder from bovine are used to assist the thyroid gland with normal function. Piper longum, or long pepper, is thought to boost metabolism and thyroid hormone levels. Finally, L-tyrosine may help maintain normal blood pressure and also assist with thyroid gland function.
Is Thyromine an Effective Weight Loss Supplement?
Pacific Naturals has included many ingredients in the recipe for Thyromine that are thought to do amazing things. Unfortunately many of these claims have not been properly evaluated. There is no testing or research information available from Pacific Naturals regarding Thyromine and its claimed effectiveness.
On the Thyromine website it states that many people may be suffering from thyroid dysfunction without even knowing it, and that even if you have been tested for a thyroid condition with negative results, you still may still have a small problem. The thyroid gland plays a huge part in many normal body functions, and if your doctor has not advised you to seek treatment for it then you shouldn’t! You could end up doing more harm then good.
Side Effects of Thyromine
There are no known side effects associated with Thyromine. Taking any medication meant to increase thyroid function when you don’t have any dysfunction can be dangerous though.
If it seems that you have been working towards a lost cause when trying to lose weight, it can be a very good idea to pay your doctor a visit to see what he advises. Keep in mind simply struggling with weight does not mean that you have any problems with your thyroid! Don’t assume that this is the case because you could end up making things worse instead of better.
If you have hypothyroidism, then taking a supplement like Thyromine may be helpful in reaching your weight loss goals. Thyromine doesn’t have any research or documentation though, to back up the claims that have been made about it. If you need a helping hand to drop your unwanted pounds, look for supplements that have been proven to be safe and effective.
